Consider in your current quest, TR....
Hi, TR -
Here's an idea or two for your consideration and approval ....
1. Takes a long time - but fr**ee to research
Keep using the search engines to find ezine directories. This takes a while, but won't cost you any money to do searches. There are many.
Use the SE results and compile your own list of ezine directories to which to submit your ezine, which again takes quite a while to do manually.
You can then submit to your complied list of ezine directories one at a time. This method is fairly tedious, but you are investing a lot of your time instead of your money using this method.
2. Use Jason's "Ezine Announcer" software
One of the people we'll discuss in our Coaching lessons is Jason Potash. His software is a great start for a reasonable cost, and will submit your ezine "automatically" once you set it up right.
This method is not fr**ee - but will save you countless hours of manual searching and manual submissions, so you must put a value on your time and weigh that against the cost of his software.
Once you buy the software, you can use it as often as you like (but do *not* spam the directories.) You own it.
3. Dr. Nunley
His service is probably the most expensive, but is also a professional, turnkey service where you pay for what you need help with, whether it's writing, or ads, or press releases, or submissions, etc. He has thousands of contacts with whom to work in your behalf. You pay each time you use his services.
Marlon told me about his site last night on the phone. I went and looked at it.
4. Other submission services -
This method can get very expensive. There are lots of submission services that charge you per submission, typically, and my advice is to get references from their customers prior to giving them any of your money. They charge you every time you use their services, too.
In summary:
The main issues here are your niche (aka Target Market) and your budget for advertising. Not knowing your niche, I gave you a couple of ideas so you could determine the proper chanel based on your budget, whether it is zero, or more.
If you take the shotgun approach and just shoot and pray, then you will *not* efficiently reach your target audience. You might completely waste your time and your money.
In marketing, you usually have to choose between investing your time, investing your money, or some reasonable ratio split between those two.
In addition, we'll cover ezines down the road a bit in our NoCost Coaching program you're in. That should also help you. But for now - do someting.
Get started. That's so important.
Hope this helps you,
Chip Tarver
