Gary Halbert has another newsletter on this topic, in addition to the one you linked to.

In this issue, he says you have to go to your local magazine store or library and look at the magazines with lots of "teaser copy" - that is, "bullets" - on the cover. Cosmopolitan is an example he mentions. Then copy down these "teasers" yourself. He copies them on to 3" x 5" index cards.
