Personally, I do believe that figurative angels hand out our business cards. Or at least I believe that if you ask for what you want, then take concentrated action in the pursuit of it, the unknown powers in the universe around us will come in behind to support our actions by guiding them. In his book Spiritual Marketing, Joe writes about ‘acting on our nudges.’ I think that’s how the universe works. It doesn’t give us what we want directly, it gives us nudges to help us get it for ourselves.

We can’t just ask for customers and then sit and wait for them to come to us. I think it works in the way that Napoleon Hill wrote about - the universe will impress the minds of people with whom we come into contact. I think that’s how angels hand out our business cards.

It’s humanity and divinity combined. That’s what my mother always said.
