Hi Gordon and everyone.

I use the Free Listbot Service. There aren't any messages on the bottom of my newsletter, and I DO import my list to my own database.

I use a program called Worldcast to send out my newsletter, but I use Listbot to manage the list for me. When I want to send to the list, I choose to view all of my demographics. It will display in your browser as a text file. I save it as plain text and then import it into Excel.

Maybe this is a little too "techy" for some, but others might not have any problem with this technique. I put a tutorial on the web which shows how to import a database into this tool.
