Ricky may have other helpful suggestions, but one option is to use Virtual PC (by Connectix) to run Windows-based e-books and other software on a Mac. But I hear it can be painfully slow. :-(
Side point: The above is another reason to consider Adobe Acrobat for e-book formats. It's both PC- and Mac-friendly.
