Just be sure you place your bet, I mean, vote on November 7. I ran across this bit of info the other day at work. Just thought I would pass it along for what it's worth...

BY ONE VOTE...

Adolph Hitler won leadership of the German Nazi party in 1923.

Thomas Jefferson won the American presidency over Aaron Burr when the election was thrown into the House of Representatives.

John Quincy Adams became President over Andrew Jackson in 1824.

Rutherford B. Hayes became President over Samuel Tilden in 1876.

Charles I of England was executed in 1649.

Texas was admitted to the Union in 1845.

President Andrew Johnson was saved from impeachment.

The English language was chosen over German for America in 1775.

Washington, Oregon, and Idaho became a part of the United States.

France was changed from a monarchy to a republic in 1875.

ALL BY JUST ONE VOTE!

If one more person in each of ten Cook County (Illinois) precincts (just 10 votes) had voted for Richard M. Nixon in 1960, John F. Kennedy would not have been elected President.

So as you can see, one vote can make a big difference. I encourage all Americans to vote on November 7.

(I realize this is an international board...I encourage all citizens to take part in their particular political process...)

Be blessed,

JDB
