Default At least this year the teams had an even amount of players!

Eleven players are allowed on the field at a time per each team.

During last year's Superbowl the Seahawks had 11, while the Steelers had 14 or more on the field at the same time. That's against NFL rules and the Steelers should have been penalized many times over, but instead they were declared the winners, when the Seahawks clearly won that game - hands down!

As Mike Holmgren, head coach for the Seahawks said - after the game:

"I didn't know we were going to be playing the guys in the stripped shirts too!"

Obviously, the officials were all part of that inferior Steeler's team and gave them points when there were none made and called stepping out of bounds on a purely ligitimate Seahawks touchdown run to steal 7 points from them and more!

Like I said, at least this year, both teams had 11 players.
