Since you are a Mac user, you're already one step ahead of the game here.

Open up "Garage Band" that is in your iLife apps....

That's some really nice editing software.

You can import anything you've got in your iTunes library into it.

If you've got an iPod, there are a few really good recorders out there that will attach to it and allow you to record onto it.

If you don't have a iPod - get one :-)
