Re: When Managing Employees, What Is The Goal?
Michael, you said "My thoughts on "this"... you don't care about our thoughts on this. You posted this Article not to get our thoughts but to brag, credentialize yourself as some kind of "exceptional manager of people" expert - and - get a link in and thus get around the No Blatant Ads rule. A ruse us "old timers" have seen plenty of times."
Thanks for taking the time to post, Michael.
Can't blame you for being skeptical, but I am just trying to help change the world from the top-down command and control model which demeans, disrespects and demotivates employees, to its opposite. No reason why we can't all love to go to work and feel great about it.
I am twice retired and am not in this for money. I help people for free if they so desire.
You are right about my considering myself an expert at managing people. I successfully effected four turnarounds including a nuclear-powered cruiser and a 1300 person unionized group in New York City and I think that makes me an expert.
Need any help managing people?
Thanks again and best regards, Ben
