Never did learn how to solve one of those things. Come to think of it, never found a great desire to want to learn how.

The Rubix Cube was one of the high-lights of the World's Fair in Knoxville, TN back in the '80's.

The cube was taken down, taken apart, and stored in a downtown building where it's pretty much gathered dust for the past 20+ years.

Someone recently got the wild idea of restoring the cube, and slowly but surely that's what's being done. Think it's set to go on display in the Knoxville Art Museum.

On top of that, the Sun Sphere, complete with it's revolving restaurant is being remodeled, leased, and will once again be used by private concerns as well as the general public.

Everything old becomes new again.

BTW.. I'll worry about solving the cube right after I learn to beat that puzzle that's on the table at Cracker Barrel.
