Default Re: How can I market a medical dictionary?

Forget the big medical dictionary and produce "Patient Pocket Dictionary to ...(name of illness)". It will have direct appeal instead of a broad spectrum that leaves people wondering if it would be useful to them.

Many booklets ABOUT specific diseases are distributed to doctor's offices and pharmacies free of charge by special interest groups, big pharma etc, so you want to make yours consumer oriented and something that would have real value to them.

Include discount coupons, special offers on accessories they may need (such as blood pressure monitors or scales), a resource section that lists contacts for support groups or medical research projects etc. You might even include some product reviews or brief articles by doctors and other health professionals in the field being discussed.
