Here's the method that works for me and many others.
Just the outline...plenty of detail available on the net for free...

1) Start a blog on a hobby, sport, fashion, fad, product that interests you.
2) add an eBay rss feed relevant to the blog topic
3) promote your blog

The eBay rss feed is encoded with your affiliate link.
You get commissions on new member sign-ups and sales.

There are also pre-defined links available from Commission Junction for
searching eBay.

3rd-party software makes formatting and including the eBay feeds easy.
I use Instant Niche Store and Auction Ads

Example blog at TopAuctionNews.com and a site without the blog at BigStarSunglasses.com.
