You are spot on with your observations on the travel industry, and ebooks in this subject matter can be a lucrative proposition.

As I mention in my ebook on creating ebooks, and always tell my clients.... Don't feel you have to produce a book on "making money". In fact ebooks other than making money / Internet Marketing, etc, can be just as profitable. You only have to look at "real" books to realize that most sold are not about wealth creation.

A client of mine has just completed a travel ebook entitled "Travelling and driving in Thailand". He's a well known Australian journalist who has spent the last 10 years living in Thailand.

He's recently completed his Web site to sell the ebook and also operates a discussion forum on traveling in Thailand, which has been a big hit. In fact it's one of the best "non-business/ marketing forums" I've seen in awhile.

He contacted me a couple of days ago, to seek my advice on his sales letter and site, and told me that the book was really taking off.

Rather than just selling the ebook one at a time, he's also going to do joint ventures with Travel agents, offering the ebook to their customers, etc.

He may also be interested in doing a joint venture with you, if you want to sell his ebook.
