Here's our timetable...
We "should" have the initial web site and blog UP and in test mode by the end of the month.
Harvey is working furiously on the UPDATED material...and I'm in constant contact with "Team Ben/Harvey".
Here is what I find interesting. As a small potatoes Entrepreneur, most of us can "turn on a dime". We make decisions and execute them, change or modify as needed. A big company, like SCI, is like an 18 wheeler, slow to get up to speed and not so easy to make a 90 degree turn...so to speak.
I've had to deal with "platform" issues...and the changing from this to that...something that you and I don't even think that much about...we just do it. Can't do that when working with so many different people, each with their own duties and responsibilities.
For example, their programmers don't like Cold Fusion...so that meant making some changes in our plans. See, they run their own servers, and all web sites are run from the inside on dedicated servers.
Likewise, it takes time for the "data" people to get things in place...something we can do with a little help from outside people, but they have to manage over 6 million names and the 100,000 or more a week they receive...and then we have to do things they have never done before.
So it has been a real eye opener for me too...BUT, I'm happy to say that team "Ben/Harvey" is excited about the project, we are working our collective butts off...and Harvey Brody, at a very young 75 years of age is working far harder than he needs to...or wants to for that matter...but it is important to him that YOU get the benefits of his 54 years of success...and the sooner the better too.
YOU can still make a contribution by telling me what you want FIRST, want the most...what information is going to be of immediate help to you, etc.
That being said, Harvey and I are working with people...who have taken action on the report, and who have rec'd the reports and taken it upon themselves to get started with finding a TOLL POSITION, while we are developing materials for the masses...we ARE working with people individually and are guiding them in the process...
It is important to both Harvey Brody and me that YOU don't get "shut out" or "cut out" or "put out"...so it is important that YOU learn how to set up deals and how to structure them with our help...but without our direct involvement until necessary.
To those of you that have begun...don't get discouraged, and keep shaking the trees (or beating the bushes if that works better for you)...the more you do NOW, the better prepared you will be when the opportunities come knocking on your door.
My best advice to everyone is, REread the Harvey Brody document...DO what he says to do...FIND some stored value...
CONTACT ME ASAP. Don't wait until you think you are ready...best thing is to get started today...and by DOING it, contacting people, learning what questions to ask...how to follow up...what to avoid...how to keep it clean and not messy...all of this will be your long term benefit.
Don't wait, ACT today.
We're right on track...hope to have the initial "a to z" report ready for the Spring, and in the meantime, we'll be tweaking and testing the web sites.
