I am just going to comment on the first thing that struck me about your post and that was the headline.

That is the "Chase your passion" part, specifically the "chase" part.

One of the definitions of "chase" is frenzied seeking after something desired.

"Frenzied seeking" is one of those lack or scarcity attributes, using the Laws of Attraction, will REPEL that which you are desiring.

"Chasing you passion" then is like spraying repellent all over it.

Well, the passion may remain intact, I should say spraying a wall of repellent over you so that the object of your passion goes away instead of coming close.
