Alwyn, I've noticed about you that sometimes you're a little quick to jump to conclusions. You seem to be very decisive, but these decisions are not well thought out before they are made. This seems a bit ironic. Your website is about leverage. Does this not require some study of concepts? Incubation? Planning and analyzing strategies? When you present these ideas to someone, do they expect that the results will be immediate or will it take some time?
A good example of how you jump to conclusions can be viewed on my discussion forum where you posted a message to Todd where your post suggests that he find an answer "on a more technical forum." I had not even had a chance to respond to his question.
Now this part about wasting your time...
Gordon gave me advice a few years ago about how to leverage myself. I followed his advice. I still do. It wasn't a "cut and dried" solution. It was an idea. A concept. And it was left up to me whether I LISTENED to it and how I APPLIED it to my business. Last week I grossed over $6000 in sales. Granted, I may not do this every week, but the advice I received is fundamental to the success of my business.
Now I've pointed out what I perceive to be a problem which may be a reflection as to why you're not getting any business. It is very possible that I could be wrong. But you can do some "leg work" and find out. Gather some of the ideas you have been hearing and write them down. Assume for the "sake of argument" that you make decisions TOO quickly. Call together some of your closest business partners and associates and present these ideas to them in a casual setting. Ask if anyone of them have some ideas about how you could implement these strategies into your business to help you start generating some income.
Learn how to listen....
Best Regards, Steve MacLellan
