In 1964, I was right tackle on our high school football team. We got to the line of scrimmage, and my mind went blank. Do I hit the guy to my left or to my right? The ball was snapped, the play was run ( a loss), and I was still considering my options.

The coach called me over and said, "Son, anytime you don't know what to do, just hit ANYBODY in that other color jersey."
