I like the idea of the postcards to the new movers. It's in line with being a mini welcome service without putting too much strain in it for me. I think it would be a selling point with which I'd feel confident. However, let me ask you this:

Do you think I should use (or give my clients the option) of including printed gift certificates that also go to the new movers?

I'm not worried about people doing it themselves, as I know they don't have a lot of time.

I'm going to have to find a way to put this into action, balancing things with my present work load.
