I've posted about Mag lev before, but, it is what the super trains use...not a new technology, but tested and proven one.
I know there are some great inventions/inventors out there who have done remarkable things with alternative and sustainable energy...all on a small or personal scale.
I think magnetic energy is a secret. The 'KEY' to any anti-gravity technology we may develop...one of the UFO theories is that the disc shape somehow locks magnetic energy into a cone shaped force field...and there has been development in this area...ooops, I mentioned UFO, there I go again delving into the magical realms...
Anyhow, imagine a disc shaped CAR. There are beams of sound, think big base speakers, not hard to do today...and those speakers are aimed at a point about 20 feet away and within these sound waves, micro waves are pumped and inside of that, alternating magnet current, which is "trapped" inside the cone...
and the magnets on the vehicle are phased to oppositely match the magnetic force within the cone...you've got a constant source of magnetic power...pushing pulling and instantly changing directions.
Anyhow, I love magnets, I'm very attracted to them.
Mag lev holds a key for lowering the resistance and friction of a falling object (think of the super train on a vertical track)...and the kinetic energy of a falling object can be converted.
Great things happening in the garages of inventors all over the world...but there has to be a critical mass, a tipping point in an application which can be cost effectively applied to mass energy production...
Thus, my free standing water tower/generator.
But, hey, I'm nuts. What do I know?

'motor' run by magnets.

'Free Electricity' methods, as well...
