Thanks, Phil, for adding that extra additional info...

The fact is, there's a lot of potential value in "garbage." Whether it's discarded gold dust, lost golf balls, or putting it to other uses!

I know a guy who once made a couple hundred bucks or so, from some things others had discarded. He found some lenses for film projectors, which had been thrown away in a dumpster. He retrieved them, and sold them for a few hundred bucks.

Probably the person who threw them away had no idea of their value...!

A lot of people "throw away" much more valuable things - or else they "keep" them, but don't use them, and are willing to sell them to you for peanuts. You can then use these things yourself, or resell them for a nice profit... There are a lot of opportunities here.
