How's it goin'? Haven't seen you around for awhile. It's nice to see you back.

It might interest you to know that I've been working with great focus and intensity on the project I discussed with you. However, when I did that mind map, I thought the thing would take *weeks* not *months*. Not this many months anyway! Well, it mostly could not have been helped nor could I have foreseen it with a mind map or any other tool. (There is a school of thought that says you should *always* plan X% for the unexpected in any project, especially software. I suppose that's true but I have yet to find a good and reliable way to do it. There are just too many variables.) Most of the problems have been technical issues related to the development tool I'm using. And just when I think I've got things licked and I'm ready to move into a new realm of productivity, I hit another technical challenge. The good news is I'm still moving towards the goal and once I get this main part all fixed up, the rest should not be as hard.
