Cornell,
I hope you (and the other Canucks here) have a great Canadian Thanksgiving!
I found this helpful link about Canadian Thanksgiving...
What is Canadian Thanksgiving, Anyway?

I like Canada, the times I've visited there... I've spent a little bit of time in Toronto, and also visited Vancouver. Oh, I've also been on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.
Back in my physics days, while I was working in Sydney (Australia), my boss was from Calgary. (He ended up going back to being a Professor at the University of Calgary, where he still is today.)
I've always wondered - why are Canadians so funny? Not many people know, but so many comedians and comedic actors in the US are actually Canadians (Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, and Michael J. Fox spring to mind).
When a country's currency is made up of "loonies" and "toonies" - I think it's a good sign of a country with a great sense of humo(u)r!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Best wishes,
Dien
