Good one on Vancouver or Victoria.

I lived in Delta in late 60's early 70's...one block off ocean...loved it...people were fantastic.

Arrived there Dec 20th and on Christmas eve my wife spotted several people coming through the gate at the back of the property.

A knock on the door.

There stood 11 neighbours all bearing food platters and house warming paraphenalia welcoming us to the neighborhood and some extras as they felt we wouldn't have had time to get acclimated for Christmas day.

Spent a lot of time in Kelowna also...beautiful, friendly destination for a retirement scenario.
