Default How would you promote to tourists an area which had Vikings?

Imagine your job was to market a particular area for tourism. One thing about this area is, it used to have Vikings!

How would you promote it?

A lot of ideas come to mind... Viking memorabilia. Viking helmets. Maybe a Viking performance...

What you might not think of is, to get tourists to...
...SMELL LIKE A VIKING!
So, what did a Viking smell like?

Apparently, it's a mixture of sweat, mud, blood, mead (a medieval alcoholic drink), animal meat, and other nostalgic aromas...

How do you smell like a Viking?

All you need is a handy spray-can of "Norse Power" deodorant!

The promotion is by the York tourist board.
