This thread suggests it's not something Google approve of.

Apart from that, remember that Google/YouTube track you so if there are too many accounts with the same IP & other info they're likely to track you down.

At the very least you'd need to clear cookies and maybe use a proxy server to log in to the new account if you had too many.
