It looks like you're right... Selling your account seems to go against YouTube terms of service...

Maybe the only way it could be done would be if it was a company-owned YouTube account - then you buy the company! (That way, "ownership" of the YouTube account doesn't change, since it's still owned by the same company...) But that's a whole different ball game...
