this was from the comments in the article

"Very clever way to promote your business WHILE
making money. Makes me wonder what other ways
entrepreneurs can make unconventional use of a
captive audience. For example, if one was starting
a startup that helps travelers, they could deck out
apartments in their promo material and then
constantly rent them out on airbnb. That way
they could promote their startup to their target
audience, WHILE turning a profit on the renting "

And here is my idea.
It could be done with a hotel. Imagine a
high ticket affiliate offer for a luxury vacation.
The offer pays $1,000 if you get people to
sign up. Then you go to a hotel manager and
make a deal, he has the maids distribute
the flyers in the rooms and he gets $500
per signup and you get the other $500.
hotel managers make good money, but I
think many would go for this.
Hi Trevor,

Yes, these are good ideas, many ways to get the word out for other offers... Ways which are not being used...!

And as you show (and as Don Alm has showed in the past), it doesn't have to be your space... It can be someone else's space. You're the deal maker in the middle who puts it together...

Often you never know if you never ASK... Many people won't do it, because they'll already imagine the rejection in their mind. But if they actually tried it... Well, you never know till you try...
