Default Mining the "hidden" diamonds which are close at hand....

Hi Phil!

Phil, thanks for sharing that great resource.... It's from one of the most inspiring talks of all time!

And it's very true, too.... There are diamonds not only at "home," but also within all of us. However, like many treasures, these inner "diamonds" often remain "buried" and sometimes it does require a bit of "mining" to uncover them -- but if you put in the work then their value can be realized....

It could be in the form of an information product, of course. That's one way....

Or it could be in the form of your skills.... We all have SOME skill which we probably do better than average.

With some, it's people skills -- they can establish that instant rapport with anyone -- as fast as a teddy bear can warm a child's heart.

Or with others, the skills might be more analytical and research-oriented.

Or they might be a technical expertise....

However, whatever it is, if it is applied in the right way, it can produce a stream of "diamonds" for you, just like any other buried treasure can.... Because if you have an above-average skill in SOMETHING, that skill can almost always be applied in SOME way to good use in a business setting. Part of the key is finding out what that strength that you have is....

Once you know, you can learn how to "mine" it and realize it for the benefit of yourself and others! (Since the best kind of success is the kind that's "win/win"... :) )

Thanks Phil for that reminder about (and link to) a great inspiring story!
