Yes, I built a 15 foot dome, but Mother Nature apparently had other plans for me - a storm brought down a 60 foot tree and totally obliterated it last year...I haven't rebuilt it as of yet....have been weighing the possibilities of relocating farther north.
Rain Gutter Grow System (RGGS) is flourishing. I am in my 4th season with it and have nothing but praises for it....the Facebook group (27,000 members) has a few members from Australia. While the buckets here are very reasonable I have moved away from them in most cases to using UV resistant totes as well as the grow bags in the kiddie pools. In the event that you might join that group to look around, you won't find my name there as I am going under a nom de plume...only the group owner and one other member knows my true identity.
If you care to take a look....my initial build of the system along with results can be seen at this link - http://www.3buckbetty.com/rggs/garden.html ....I am still using that part of the system along with additional.
Thanks for remembering and asking about the gardening

Hi Cornell, Thanks for sharing photos of your rain gutter garden... very impressive results! Bummer about your dome... Murphy's law struck again... Next one will be better!
Question: Which method do you use to prevent mosquitoes?
Mosquitoe Dunks?
Of course the Kiddie Pool Grow Bag System is just plant and forget, no weeds, no watering and no mossies!
My father grew up during the great depression. Being the oldest of 7 siblings he took up hunting and fishing to feed them. His father drowned in a fishing accident when he was just 9 years old. My dad said the people who suffered least during the depression were those who lived on farms... because they could always sleep in the barn and would always have food to eat, plus they could earn money selling the produce.
Back during World War 2, many American's had
Victory Gardens in their yards. As baby boomers age, many will take up gardening... Gardening is fun and can be a great way to feed yourself and earn extra money!

The Rain Gutter Grow System is Brilliant plus it eliminates most of the work involved in keeping a garden. You can go away for weeks at a time and the garden will pretty much take care of itself!
Much better than the EZGROW planters that I have... and so easy to build!
Cheers,
