Meanwhile, I don't really know anyone who's sold a movie or TV project, but I do have a "friend of a friend" who's done it. The friend of a friend (who I don't know personally) is
a novelist. His first novel
"Syrup" was turned into a movie. I heard that
George Clooney bought the film rights to another of his books...
All I know is, there's big bucks in selling your movie rights to Hollywood... His particular pathway was to write the novels first, but of course, it can be done other ways too...
