Bob Dylan and the Nobel prize, that's something isn't it?

I like to explore the early works of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, even Gordon Lightfoot to see how they evolved through their Parades of their lives.

In the early morning rain,
past shadows dark and deep
it's not somebody whos seen the light
the answer is blowin in the wind.

Great stuff.

Ah, Gordon Lightfoot has "touched the magic" more than once, hasn't he?

I love the guys and gals, who can sit down with a piano or guitar and just do it. No studio effects. No canned sound track. Just them and their pure, raw talent.

James Taylor, Carol King...just amazing.

Jim Croce, and Harry Chapin, who left us too early.

Dylan had that magic touch. He's on record admitting he can't do it anymore.
That's okay, Bob, you've more than justified your place in our memories

Leonard Cohen is wonderful.

"Everybody knows that you love me baby.
Everybody knows that you really do.
Everybody knows that you've been faithful.
ah, give or take a night or two.

Everybody knows that you've been discreet
there was so many people you just had to meet
without your clothes, and everybody knows."

Willie Nelson, so gifted, as a writer and performer. There are many, many others.

Bless all of them for making our lives better.
