For every hour spent learning; reading, watching, listening...
spend two hours APPLYING what you learn.
This isn't always easy, but from a practical, useful and profitable view point, it is one way to give you faster results.
I see this in Copywriting all the time, where my best guess is about 10 hours of learning against one hour of actually writing to sell something. I think this may be the reason we will see so many homeless copy writers in the years to come, but they will all talk up their knowledge and guru down at the soup kitchen.
Learn, sure...but DO too.
I like hands on, in the field, education.
