So I am asking you guys help on this copy that I developed.
This follow-up worked OK, (I am not doing it now) and I would like your advice how to better it.
It is basically a offer of 25% discount:
1- For you I make you 25% discount. Interested?
If I don't get a reply:
2- Interested in the discount?
If I still I don't get a reply:
3- I won't bother you again: interested in the 25% discount?
If I got on any of the 3 questions a "no", this is what I ask:
4- I give you 50% (fifty) discount.
The last warning of the 50% worked OK too. I got some sales with that last warning of the 50% discount.
As I said, this worked OK, I am not doing it now, but I would like to make it better.
Thank you all.

Hi Mike,
One thing which arises in my mind is giving a
reason why...
Why are you giving a 25% discount?
I believe the research (e.g. Cialdini) shows that giving a reason why will make people more likely to agree to your request (which here is to buy your products)!
I believe that the reason why should be truthful, which makes it more difficult... (I believe in truth in marketing...

)
One way is to tie it into a special occasion... E.g. I'm giving a discount... to celebrate Halloween, to celebrate election day, to celebrate Thanksgiving, to celebrate the end of the year, to celebrate my birthday, to celebrate my dog's birthday, etc.

For example, did you know that today (Oct. 27) is
National Tell a Story Day in the UK?

Wow! I wished I'd looked that up earlier and used it myself...
(
National Tell a Story Day in the USA is apparently on April 27!)
Best wishes,
