Yes, that ad you linked to, and the book it sold, is/was excellent.

Joffe was a Holocaust survivor, founder of HAVERHILLS, a great catalog and later FLAME, a very interesting life.

He wrote copy for letters which pulled in millions of dollars for his favorite cause, Israel. The book was one of the best on the catalog business.
