Man, when you think about it, it MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. Get the order first (which ensures there's a market for what you're selling)....

And there's nothing wrong with getting pre-orders using a mock-up.... In fact, it really is a great idea. In a sense, you are asking people to "reserve" the product for them when it's ready. It's a great strategy, and I'm sure it will quickly tell you if you have a market or not....
