I had to borrow my wife's sneakers to do this (my own shoes have velcro straps)! And I don't know where my "dress shoes" are (I haven't worn them for quite a while), though I'm sure I can find them if I need them...
Okay, I did it two ways...
First, normally you put one shoelace over and then under the other, then make loops, then put the loops so that one is over and then under the other, to tie the knot...
Instead, I made the loops as the first step! (I know, wild...)
Secondly, I did it again... but I made a "clove hitch" knot of one shoelace around the other shoelace... (My boy scout training has come in handy!)
What does it mean?
