Impact of Free Advice
Has anyone noticed how often a person you are talking with about business when you offer "free advice" actually takes you up on said advice?
I noticed that when I give a very detailed example or technique to a business owner that is the time when advice is valued. I usually think that if the owner gets my best when just chatting, then he will value having me advise him for a fee.
What has been your experience?
