I thought it was an interesting story! The way I read it is that Mr. Serious is doing it as a publicity stunt.... To my mind, the goal is to splash his name in the papers. Who knows, he may get another movie contract out of it or it could lead to some other opportunity.... Publicity can lead to big things.

After all, didn't one of those people from the TV show "Survivor" make it into that movie, "The Animal" with Rob Schneider (from Saturday Night Live)? I think that says it all! Perhaps Mr. Serious is hoping for a similar windfall.... Who knows. :)
