Hesitant: curious about that
> I have wanted to hire a Nanny, yet I had

What a darling boy Julie...meant to tell
you that..now for the inner voice of hesitation.
Have you explored what that is about? I worked
in Child Welfare for over 25 years Julie. And
I know you worked for the government too and
had your share of bad experiences.
Trust the hesitant voice Julie. Be careful with
letting others you do not know and trust, take
care of your children. I know it's hard today
to raise children by yourself. But you have
to be careful. From my experience parents spending
quality time with their children pays off later.
I know you are a busy woman taking care of a
thriving business. But see if there are some ways
you can reorganize to do it and take care of your
own children. If you can find a relative or
"close" friend to take care of your children:
then I say go for it.
I know you know there are Professional Nanny
Services. And they cost. They cost because of
the screening involved. As you know from recent
stories in the news the screening doesn't necessarily insure the safety of your children.
Noone loves your child as much as you do.
But if you do decide to get a Nanny: then I
think you need to invest in some of the tools
which allow you to check on them when you're not
home.
Recently one of my co-workers did this and found
the "nice beautiful nanny" was emotionally
abusing her child.
Please be careful Julie....
Take care
