Default PRIVACY ... the easy way!

After the recent airing of the CBS "60 Minutes" segment about "cookies," I have encountered a number of articles and postings regarding "Privacy on the Internet." -- Most of them advising that to maintain your privacy, set your computer to "Disable Cookies" - or - have your computer warn you when you are receiving a cookie, so you can reject it.

Either way might work - but ...

There is absolutely no need to disable cookies.

At the end of each day, simply do a "Find File" or "File Search" ... type in "cookie" and your computer will tell you where the cookie file is located.

If you open that file, the heading will tell you "Do Not Delete this File" ... with a bunch of double talk -- BUT ... All ya gotta do is delete that cookie file. Your browser will create another one, tomorrow, but none of the cookies you've received before will be there. Then, tomorrow, at the end of the day, "delete" the cookie file, again ... every day, or week.
