Mostly - these spywares only focus on the bigger affiliate networks: clickbank, cj, linkshare, amazon.
And usually - the buyer isn't even aware of the spyware on his computer... maybe there is a spyware on this person's computer - but he doesn't know it and so is blaming the OS.
You should ask him to run a software like Ad Aware to clean his computer.

I have sent an email to the customer and await reply. That sounds more like what happened then the OS stripping the URL. But you never know until you ask around.
Thanks for the info. I use Ad Aware all the time and never gave it a thought.
As far as I can tell this only happened to this person. My numbers are about the same for this promo as I expected.
In fact a little higher. It is a great product.
