seriously, I am considering the same idea ...and chattelling across america is a wonderful idea...need to find a unique name for the venture tho ...

Have to admit I have dept kinda quiet about some of the deals I have done...because I dont know if they truly fall within the chattel arena...

buying and selling the bicycles certainly does...was kinda cool...
bought em at a storage warehouse sale ...stole em really ...got a mixed bag of /12 for 120...10 bux each ....had to do some repairs to 4 of them...costing a total of 85....spray paint was mine all ready ..cost , I dont know, 10 bux maybe


total of 215....

set em on the street with a chain so they wouldnt disappear...

and a guy came by ...offered me 500 for the bunch of em...

which I gladly accepted...turned out he has a flea market kinda place..said he could double his money by saturday ...good for him...good for me...
