Most people who speak on success have to be successful in something other than publishing or no publisher is willing to even consider publishing them.
Most of the speakers were successful using these principals as former salesmen. Brian Tracy and Tom Hopkins fall into this category. Jim Rohn was a salesmen/ dealmaker.
Anyone who becomes a star in the success education industry makes more money talking about success than running a business that is unrelated.
At $50 to $200 a ticket to speak to 200 to 1,000 people in a room three to six nights a week plus $5000 to $40000 to speak for an hour at a company function how can you make more with such low risk and overhead?
There are many smaller names who are not well known that make much less , and part-time speakers who make more money applying success principals in their business than as speakers. They have to be! Otherwise they would go broke. Most of them started in sales and some are executives.
