I find pop-ups, pop-unders, pop-overs and popadams annoying... (Actually the last two are delicious!)

I think whether to use them might depend on the kind of site you have. If it is a site people will only go to once or twice (eg. the site is mostly a salesletter) then it could be beneficial....

However if you want repeat visitors it could dissuade them from returning. I know that I go to some websites less often when I know that each time I will be "greeted" by a pop-up....

But, as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the tasting... You could try it and see.

I haven't put any of these on my web sites, though I would probably consider it if they were web sites designed mainly to be visited once or twice to make a sale....

Well, there are some views for what it's worth. :)

That's just on pop-ups... I don't know much about Start-Blaze / Exit-Blaze specifically... I'm looking forward to seeing what others say too....
