Thanks for sharing your post.... My feeling is that we ALL have strengths and weaknesses, and it's always good to use your strengths!

I have a former girlfriend, from a few years ago, who always draws a lot of attention. She is a wonderful person (we still keep in touch), but in her case what draws many people initially I think is her face - she has large eyes which can't help but draw you in. She doesn't always welcome this attention, but what can she do? There's not much she can do.... I think we are pre-programmed to be attracted to large-ish eyes (that's why babies tend to have large-ish eyes), so because my former girlfriend has strikingly large-ish eyes, many people can't help but be drawn to her.

Anyhow, Mary, it sounds like YOU have a wonderful "gift" with people which is a wonderful bonus. I think you have EVERY reason to be confident in yourself! :)
