The specific part of Norton that is causing your problem is reporting of the "Referrer" string. By default your web browser sends the URL of the previous Web page up. Many scripts use that information for security. So probably Dien's script is checking to make sure that you are executing the script from a page on his site. Norton blocks that info and the script thinks you may be up to no good. Check around the privacy settings and you can turn just the referrer back on.
My personal opinion is that blocking referrers is a very misguided idea - but hey what do I know.
I have problems with some sites not displaying at all if I have ad blocking turned on.
