Default Re: Question about the "puppy dog"....

Oh Yes, Dien....we have them sign a simple agreement which says;

" ALM & ASSOCIATES

RECEIPT FOR MERCHANDISE

Address________________________________________

Town__________________________________

Name____________________________________________

I have received this day, a ____________________, on a One Week Trial Basis. After the Trial period if I decide to keep the item I will pay for it, otherwise I will return it to the salesperson.

Received By____________________________________

Print Name

Signature______________________________________

Date_______________"

The main reason why this works so well is....what is called in the area of "Sales Psychology" is....."RISK REVERSAL"!

The customer is NOT "risking" a thing! If they don't like the product...they just return it.

And, Yes, there were people we had trouble collecting our units from. Mostly having trouble finding them home. Only once did we have someone blatantly lie about ALREADY paying for the unit. She was a heavy drinker and drunk when I arrived and instead of standing there arguing with her about whether or not the unit was paid for or not...I just walked away.

I COULD have gone to the Police Dept and signed a Complaint of "Stolen Property" but...wasn't worth the hassle to me. I was making too much moolah to waste time on "negative" things.
