I already have this attitude (although it may not appear so from my sometimes hurried and frantic posts). I am the most enthusiastic employee there, actually, for the very simple reason that I LOVE the Howard Schultz story. I'm actually honored to be working for the guy.

In fact, everyone reading this who is in what you consider a dead-end job, reread Gordon's post. Then reread it again. Print it. Take it with you to work, apply it to your company, and read it on your break.

It's exactly the attitude more employees should have. We'd all be happier.
