Default How to Drink for Free at Your Favorite Pub, and Get Paid to Do It.

Free drinks? Next pint on me.

Well, maybe. Before I post my doom and gloom post next, about coming brown outs, and a very violent end to Summer 2022...a little hope.

On Jan. 1, the state of Ohio, launches its SPORTS GAMBLING business. A billion bux venture, another snare for those inclined to lose their lunch money to wishful hopes.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I play a lot of lottery. So, there is that.

My "winning" system, so far, has been a combination of ... Flexible Conditional Algorithm + Focused Psychic Energy = $$$$, albeit, small potatoes worth.

I'm basically a hobbyist, a tinkerer, a dabbler with gambling.

But MILLIONS are not. And my state, Ohio, wants another way to take their money.

Soon, we'll be able to place bets in any bar, pub or alcohol vendor on our favorite sport, or team. So, I have been prepping for this, for a couple of years now, as you will find in our archives.

My best bet? Sell tools to miners.

My new HOTSHEETS and REPORTS on all things Gambling, how to place bets, etc,. etc., etc. may be the most profitable thing yet.

We've talked about lottery hotsheets, and going back a couple of decades, actual paper and ink ones.

What do I see as a potential for getting FREE DRINKS at bars (only thing, like A. Hitler, THE DONALD, I don't drink or smoke, YIKES, do you think....nah)

IS...

And this is the bigger idea.

Say you like Hunt's Bar and Grille, and you are somewhat a regular. What if you went to Ms. Hunt and offered her a BRANDED gambling form, a nice little hotsheet, or several of them, that patrons could use to keep track of their bets, have TIPS on them, and maybe a coupon offer too?

The idea is to turn you, a semi regular, into a more often regular. Half off wings night with your betting form from the bar in hand? SEE?

Now, Sports Betting in Ohio, was a fierce fight behind the scenes, with the Casino commission beating out the lottery commission for "ownership", although the lottery got the class C, (the bars) licenses, and they will set up and operate the betting kiosks in these bars.

No state is going to spend millions and millions if they don't think they are going to get a huge return on that investment.

The way to cash in, from my perspective, is to, once again, tools to miners.

And me, all loving on paper and ink products, see a way to HELP a bar get more regulars, HELP the bettor with tools, HELP the State (Hey OHIO, maybe be thankful) and everyone WINS, except those who lose the bet, eh?

I wouldn't lay a dime on Ohio State, The Browns, Bengals or Reds, but I'd gladly take a dime from bar for services rendered.

This is a case of seeing a big train coming down the track, and standing between the rails and letting it run over you.

Good news for us HARDWARE stores during the Gold rush days.

Bad news. Coming up next.
