Default Overcoming your fear in business...

Many feel a sense of fear when they contemplate starting a business... Or there may be a feeling of fear when they start to create something, or start to sell their product or service, or many other various processes...

I think the vast majority of people feel these fearful feelings at some point or another...

How do you deal with it? How do you overcome it?

Some call it "fear of failure"... But I wonder, is it more "fear of the unknown?" Often, in business, we don't know what the outcome will be! Not knowing can cause fear...

Some embrace it, and get a thrill from jumping into the unknown!

Others consider all the things that can go wrong, then make a plan of how to tackle each and every possibility. If they can, they structure things from the beginning to minimize the negative possibilities...

Others create a "Plan B"... even a "Plan C" and "Plan D"... to have "backup plans" if things don't go as they expect...

While others will create multiple pathways to success, so there is not just one way to succeed. (This is kind of similar to the "Plan B" etc. approach, except they may implement multiple plans simultaneously...)

And there's always the power of prayer...

There are many ways to deal with it!

Here's an interesting article on how some successful entrepreneurs have dealt with this feeling... (Starting with Barbara Corcoran from Shark Tank...)
